Bowls Club

We are a small group who play regularly in the Village Hall from September through to June.

The game is 'Short Mat Indoor Bowls' and is played using full-sized bowls on a mat 45ft long by 6ft wide. We have two mats, which can be used simultaneously, side by side. The game can be played over a number of 'ends', as singles, pairs, triples or fours.

There are two groups - one plays on Thursday afternoons, the other on Wednesday evenings. The emphasis is on a friendly, casual and enjoyable sport. 'Uniform' is not required for our club meetings, the ONLY stipulation we make is that you must wear flat-soled footwear (no treads). We have many sets of bowls available.
