Bowls - Indoor Bowls Club, Thursday 2 pm and Wednesday 7.45 pm in the Village Hall.

We are a small group who play regularly in the Village Hall from September through to June.

The game is 'Short Mat Indoor Bowls' and is played using full-sized bowls on a mat 45ft long by 6ft wide. We have two mats, which can be used simultaneously, side by side. The game can be played over a number of 'ends', as singles, pairs, triples or fours.

There are two groups - one plays on Thursday afternoons, the other on Wednesday evenings. The emphasis is on a friendly, casual and enjoyable sport. 'Uniform' is not required for our club meetings, the ONLY stipulation we make is that you must wear flat-soled footwear (no treads). We have many sets of bowls available.

The Club started in 1991. We would welcome new members. If you would like to try it, contact Dave or Cynthia Hurley on 836509.
