ANNOUNCEMENT A Celebration Anniversary Cricket Match will be played Against Moreton Village Cricket Club On Sunday 1st June 2008, Starting at 2.00 PM At The Recreation Ground, Mackney Lane Brightwell cum Sotwell The Match to be played by Gentlemen and Players Dressed in the Style, Using Equipment and Playing by the Rules of 1858 *** Spectators are invited to support the Village Teams at this historic Game and to add to the Mood and Fun of the Day: To Also Dress in 1858 style (A competition with prizes for best dressed Male & Female Adult and Child) *** Refreshments to include Red Lion Beer Tent Serving a special "Anniversary Ale" brewed in Brightwell by Appleford Brewery "1858 Style Food" Served by the Brightwell WI And competitions for all the family to participate in! *** Brightwell Cricket Club Junior Section under 9 years will play a match between 1 & 2pm And the under 11 Years will play a match at tea - between 4 & 5pm All Funds Raised for the Establishment of the Brightwell cum Sotwell Junior Cricket Section For further information please contact Tony Windsor: Secretary of BCSCC on 07909 848098
