Your Post Office Team would like to thank all those that Supported the Post Office whilst we were in the Red Lion. For those that have not yet visited the Stewart Room do pay us a visit. We have all the usual Post Office facilities available except Car Taxation, although we do keep car tax forms.

 

Travel Tokens & Bus Passes

Travel Tokens will not be available locally in future. All Travel Tokens and Bus Passes will be managed by SODC directly.

On line cash facilities available for:

Special Account application forms for most other banks including Nat West, HSBC, Halifax, Abbey etc. Cheques and Cash may be paid into Lloyds, Barclays and Alliance & Leicester, and National Savings accounts all on line.

Please do not get your Cash from the Supermarkets or the Petrol Stations come and use your local Post Office. Help to make sure we retain a Post Office facility in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell.

Come and Top up your Mobile On Line. We are on line to all the Mobile companies. You can have a Voucher or use your own card. The Top Ups start at £5.00.

No fees charged on all transactions including any returned currency. European Health Card application forms available for your European Holidays. Come to your local Post Office for Holiday Insurance this may be completed on line while you wait. Pick up a leaflet and ring for a quote.

Payment of Bills

Come to your local Post Office to pay your bills on line. Immediate receipt given. SODC, Oxford City, Telephone, Electricity, Gas, Water and Store Bills can be paid on line. Do not sign up for Direct Debits that take the money too early. Come and pay when the money is due and not before. Bills may be paid with Cash, Debit Cards or Cheques.

Letters, Large Letters, Packages and Parcels.

We are on line for the receipt all types of mail. Use the Special Guaranteed Next Day Delivery by 09.00 or 13.00 Mail Facility with compensation up to £500.00 for all your very important items. The minimum charge for this service is £4.30, but is competitive for heavier items that need to be posted. Or perhaps use the Sign for Service for an extra 0.70 p for first or second class mail. There are other options for Overseas Mail. The Special Post Office envelopes with Postage Paid up 300 and 500 grams are also worth considering. Come to the Post Office and pick up a leaflet.

Postal Orders

Can now be printed for any amount and crossed and used like a cheque. Ideal for sending cash through the post for those EBay items.
