The Swan Allotments

Named after a pub which once stood here, these allotments have gone through periods of neglect, but have recently enjoyed a revival of interest. Brightwell was traditionally excellent fruit-growing country, and the soil is rich and fertile. The Environment Group manages a disused corner of the site to encourage biodiversity.
