The Pavilion

On Christmas Day 1997, the old wooden pavilion that used to stand here burnt down. For several years, the village football and cricket teams played on with virtually no facilities at all. However, thanks to a mammoth fund-raising campaign and much voluntary effort, the teams now have new facilities which are also used by many other village organisations.
