The Air Cadet Organisation (ACO) is a national youth organisation sponsored by the Royal Air Force in the UK. Membership is open to young people aged between 13 and 22 years. Each year over 60,000 cadets are given the chance by volunteer staff to take part in many activities, including learning to fly, learning leadership skills, target shooting and learning about aviation and aerospace.
