Wallingford & District Walk the World
24th April to 22nd May
This year, because we can't do the "House to House" collections, Save the Children is challenging all ages to join people across the UK to Walk the World for children and families in the UK and globally.
As a result of COVID-19, more children are living in poverty, going hungry and unable to learn. Save the Children has continued, throughout the pandemic, to help these Children with their long term projects and in emergencies. However, to help continue this work we need you!!
If you would like to help our branch here in Brightwell, please make a donation on our Justgiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/wallingfordanddistrictbranch and start walking, running, cycling or swimming, then log your miles with us so that we can collectively reach checkpoints in the UK, Syria, Yemen and Cox's bazaar. Every mile counts so don't worry if it's only a few miles or a hundred miles.
From 24th April to 22nd May you can log your miles either through our local branch Facebook page "Save the Children Wallingford & District Branch" or by emailing them to Ali:- fastzee@yahoo.co.uk.
We will keep you updated on our journey, I hope you can help us change their futures for the better.
