War in Ten Poems from Cholsey Downs to Flanders Fields- the Great War in the words of its greatest poets. Peter Adamson and friends are hosting an event in aid of Brightwell Supporting Refugees, on Sunday 2nd November in St Mary-le-More Parish Church, Wallingford.
It is less than an hour long but promises to be an absorbing experience, built around what the author (Peter Adamson) describes as some of the greatest poems ever written. Poets such as Masefield, Brooke, McRae, Sassoon, Owen and Carol Ann Duffy.
