Oxfordshire County Council have implemented a temporary road restriction in Brightwell from 31st March to 4th April. See below for map
Village History Group
The Village History Group has now uploaded over 750 photographs of the village since circa 1880. Do have a look. They are fascinating. You can see them on the website by clicking on the link under History.
Earth Trust volunteering
The Earth Trust are currently recruiting volunteers to help their Education team. So, if you have experience of working with children, share your passion for the natural world, love meeting people and being involved how about joining the Programming volunteer team? Cosy Cafe closed
The Cosy Cafe has sadly closed. Numbers were too low but Shena Luck has raised over £1000 towards the Village Hall and is very grateful to everyone who came.
Fairthorne Memorial Charity
Fairthorne Memorial Charity is the last surviving historic Brightwell cum Sotwell charity. It exists to help those who are in distress or need in Brightwell cum Sotwell and the local area.
