North Moreton have their book sale on Saturday 31st October in North Moreton Church from 10 am until 3 pm. As usual thousands of books will be on sale with all proceeds going to support the village hall and church.

On the evening of Saturday 21st November at 7.30 pm the Choir will be performing in St. Mary’s Church, Wallingford a Celebration of Women Composers. 10 beautiful short pieces by composers including Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, Florence Price and Ethel Smyth, alongside a pioneering piece writen by a talented female member of South Oxfordshire Choir itself.

Jonathan Stamp has kindly offered to give a talk, jointly hosted with the Brightwell cum Sotwell History Group called Ghosts at Cock-Crow on 3rd December starting at 7.30 in the Village Hall. This will bring his research into the effects of the Black Death on Brightwell and the surrounding area.
