On the off chance you'll have a moment this Saturday 26th Sept at 9am (until 9.30am) I’m helping to stage a protest press photo to fight Croudace Homes’ appeal to build many hundreds of unnecessary homes on the fields off Shillingford Road. And it would be amazing if you felt able to join us. As you know, if Croudace Homes wins its appeal, a further development of unnecessary houses would then join Slade End roundabout to Shillingford Road, so it’s an important issue for Brightwell-cum-Sotwell. A drone photo being taken from above so we need as many people as possible.  We have been given permission from RAF Benson and the CAA, but only until 9.30am, so we will need to be prompt.In the hope that you can come we are meeting by the metal 5-bar gate in Doyley Road, just off Wilding Road adjacent to the site, OX10 8AQ.   The What3Words address is  tech.intervals.september .   Also ...Wallingford Town Council is opposing the proposed development, and will be represented by a barrister at the Planning Inquiry in January. The Town Council has committed £15,000 towards its opposition, and launched a Crowdfunder appeal to raise a further £10,500. The funding appeal has reached just over half its total but there's a long way to go.
