Neighbourhood Watch
Neighbourhood Alert
Neighbourhood Alert is a computerised system used by the Police to notify Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators of incidents in their area. These may be warnings of criminals such as bogus callers operating in the vicinity, reports of recent burglaries, details of suspicious vehicles, or requests for information to assist in Police enquiries.
Neighbourhood Alert messages are delivered automatically to Coordinators by telephone, fax or e-mail. Individual Coordinators then circulate messages to their "patches" as required.
Within the village we have an e-mail distribution list for Neighbourhood Alert messages, which helps to ensure their timely delivery, and reduces the workload for the Coordinators. If you would like to be added to this list, just e-mail myron.edwards@talktalk.net, and remember to let your local Coordinator know that you can be taken off any other distribution lists.
